Gone Fishin’… At Disney World!

Fishin' At Disney World

One of the best perks of our Disney Visa card are the points we build up to spend during our next visit. We redeem them before our trip and use them on a splurge. Our last splurge was a private fishing excursion on Crescent Lake. My boys had a blast. My husband’s fish tales were scaled down to a believable account due to the many witnesses. And I was able to enjoy a leisurely cruise around my favorite EPCOT resort area.

Disney supplies everything you need for their catch and release bass fishing excursions: fishing equipment, rod, reel, nets, bait and beverages. There are four tours to choose from: private tour around Bay Lake, private tour around Crescent Lake, private tour around Village Lake and a one-hour junior (kids ages 6-12) at both Bay Lake and Crescent Lake. See this page for more detailed information.

The private two hour tours run about $200-250 for private parties up to 5 guests. There are also four-hour tours available. The junior tour is about $30 per child. Call (407) WDW-PLAY (407-939-7529) for reservations and more information.
