FastPass+ is a free perk to all Walt Disney World guests, making it easier to plan your day and guarantee you will experience your favorite attractions. Theoretically. Magic Bands Now Available For Purchase By Non-Disney Resort Guests

Beginning March 31, 2014, Magic Bands will be available for purchase by Disney guests who are not staying on Disney property. The bands will cost $12.95 and will allow you to make your FastPass+ selections up to 30 days in advance of your trip. Currently, Disney resort guests are allowed FastPass+ planning access 60 days ahead of their trip. Colors available are pink, green, red, blue, yellow, gray and orange. FastPass+ At Disney World: A Basic Overview

In January 2014, Walt Disney World did away with the paper FastPass system and adopted FastPass+. FastPass+ allows you to legally “cut” the line, considerably cutting your wait time for an attraction. Disney Resort Guests can make their selections up to 60 days in advance of their visit. Off-site guests can make selections up to 30 days before their visit. Both types of guests can keep track of their FastPass+ selections on their smart phone or tablet.
