The Best Disney Advice I’ve Ever Received

What is the best Disney advice I’ve ever received? Arrive at the park at least 30 minutes before rope drop. Simple, right? But I have to admit, I heard that advice a thousand times before I actually put it into practice. Once I did, I never looked back. The Way It Used To Be….Ahhh, Memories Before the mid 1990’s, and because I had been to Walt Disney World so many times, I never saw the need to get to the parks early. We were a “fly by the seat of our pants” kind of family. We didn’t need a schedule. If an Continue reading The Best Disney Advice I’ve Ever Received

Your Transportation Primer For Walt Disney World Resorts

For the first time Disney World visitor, transportation covering a massive 27,000 acres (roughly 42 square miles) can be daunting. For those who fly to Walt Disney World, you MUST use their on-site transportation. For people who drive, you don’t have to, but I’m telling you, you should. There are only a few instances that I recommend driving your own car. Typically, we park the car when we arrive and never get in it again until it’s time to go home. Disney offers bus, boat and monorail transportation to a variety of places within the property. Knowing the best one to use when Continue reading Your Transportation Primer For Walt Disney World Resorts

How To Miss All The Fun On Your Walt Disney World Vacation

1. Sleep In. The best way to avoid lines and the (sometimes) oppressive Florida heat is to arrive at the park at least 30 minutes before the park opens. You can get so much done in the first few hours that the parks are open. 2. Or Go To Bed Early. I know. After waking up early to beat the crowds, going to bed early sounds great. But you’re on vacation. Sleeping is for lazy weekends at home. But if you must (and I admit, I must) get your sleep, be sure to plan for a few late nights. Riding Splash Continue reading How To Miss All The Fun On Your Walt Disney World Vacation
