You are a seasoned Disney traveler. You know all the Disney tricks for visiting the parks and they’ve served you well. But you’re about to embark on your first Disney Cruise. And on our first Disney Cruise we received a quick lesson on how much we didn’t know. The tricks that saved us in the past would be useless on a cruise. Arriving Early You’ve heard me say it a hundred times: “Get to the parks at least 30-45 minutes before they open.” On a Disney Cruise? Getting there before your scheduled arrival time just adds more (boring) wait time Continue reading Disney Tricks That May Work In The Parks But Not On Your Disney Cruise
Walt Disney World has a resort for every personality and every budget. While there are plenty of do’s and don’ts for the newbie Disney guest, first things first. Where to stay? But what is the best resort for the first timer? In the huge scheme of things, any resort is going to be a winner. Some, however, are better than others. They all offer great theme-ing. FastPass+ is a free perk to all Walt Disney World guests, making it easier to plan your day and guarantee you will experience your favorite attractions. Theoretically. Personally, I have a love/hate relationship with FastPass+. But as FastPass has evolved, I’ve begun to resent it more and more. That’s not to say it doesn’t have its advantages. But, being strapped to a specific schedule, visit after visit, has Continue reading FastPass+: What You Didn’t Know You Didn’t Know

November 18th is only a week away. It’s a special day for the Disney family and it’s extra special for this Disney-obsessed family. A few years ago we found out it’s also Mickey’s birthday! On November 18th, he proudly wore his “I’m Celebrating” button. Continue reading Mark Your Calendars: It’s Almost Mickey’s Birthday!
