You arrive at your resort and you want to hurry up and start the magic. But first you have to check-in. And if you are arriving during the busy season, there will probably be a wait.
Have no fear! Online check-in is here!
Online check-in is a fast, easy, free and convenient service that Disney offers all of their resort guests. And, you do it from the comfort of your kitchen table, comfy couch and in your PJs, if you so desire.
The benefits include reduced time at the registration desk because you’ve already entered all of the necessary information from home. Once you are physically present in your resort you simply greet the Online Check-In Cast Member. You are given your welcome packet, your Magic Bands are activated and you are on your way.
Step One: Sign into your Disney account at the online check-in page or on your My Disney Experience App.
Step Two: Click the resort reservation you need to activate.
Step Three: Enter your expected arrival and departure times. Add any room requests you may have.
Step Four: Follow each of the sequential steps, providing information on credit card purchases while vacationing, creating on-property pin numbers, verifying your home address, setting up room ready notification and agreeing to their terms. A note about pin numbers: You must enter a pin number for every member of your party to use and you may not want your children to have charging privileges. Back in the old days, you could have charging privileges removed from your children’s resort keys. You can still do this when you arrive at the resort. Simply tell the Cast Member. Or, just keep the pin number a secret from everyone that you don’t want putting charges on your resort room reservation. This includes your child and may or may not include your spouse.
Step Five: That’s it. You’re finished. Just be sure you’ve entered a mobile phone number for notification that your room is ready.
